Tender description

The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI), established by Government under the Sustainable Energy Act 2002, has a mission to play a leading role in transforming Ireland into a society based on sustainable energy structures, technologies and practices. SEAI's Business programmes offer a range of support services to the business community Ireland. The emphasis is on supporting organisations to address their energy use rationally to improve their competitiveness and reduce their costs and environmental impact. The purpose of this Request for Tenders ("RFT") is to invite proposals from suitably qualified services providers to provide expert services in support of SEAI’s Business Programmes Team. SEAI has issued this RFT with the objective of concluding four multi-party frameworks to establish a panel of experts in each of the following categories or ‘Lots’, as follows: Lot 1: Policy analysis and strategic advisory support It is anticipated that up to 7 framework members will be appointed in LOT 1. Lot 2: Strategic support to large businesses SEAI intends to appoint up to 20 framework members to the Framework under LOT 2. Lot 3: Small Medium Enterprise (SME) programme supports SEAI intends to appoint up to 6 Framework Members to the framework under LOT 3. Lot 4: Best practice and communications support SEAI intends to appoint up to 6 Framework Members to the framework under LOT 4. Any multi-party framework agreement that may result from this Competition will be issued for a term of 1 year. SEAI reserves the right to extend the term for a period or periods up to 12 months with a maximum of 3 such extension or extensions on the same terms and conditions, subject to SEAI’s obligations at law.
