Tender description

AMP7 Capital Programmes for non-infrastructure works and infrastructure works. TWUL recognises these as: Infrastructure – nominally the underground network of water mains and sewage: and non-infrastructure – nominally all above ground plant, equipment, structures and process. The expected scope of works spans Thames Water’s water and wastewater infrastructure (network) and non-infrastructure (treatment) assets across the Thames Water region. The nature of the infrastructure scope broadly extends from rehabilitation, replacement and provision of new sewers and potable water pipelines to inspection and maintenance of aqueducts and tunnels. This will also include refurbishment, replacement and provision of new pumping station assets. Non-infrastructure scope includes refurbishment, replacement and provision of new potable water and wastewater treatment assets including service and storage reservoirs. The provision of non-infrastructure works across all Thames Water Operational Areas. Estimated contract value of the lot in the aggregate is 360 000 000 GBP (180 000 000 GBP each for both AMP7 and AMP8). The provision of Infrastructure works across all Thames Water Operational Areas. Estimated contract value of the lot in the aggregate is 340 000 000 GBP (170 000 000 GBP each for both AMP7 and AMP8). The provision of non-infrastructure works in North and South London. Estimated contract value of the Lot in the aggregate is 700 000 000 GBP (350 000 000 GBP each for both AMP7 and AMP8). The provision of non-infrastructure works in the Thames Valley region. Estimated value of the lot in the aggregate is 420 000 000 GBP (210 000 000 GBP each for both AMP7 and AMP8). The provision of infrastructure works in the North London region. Estimated value of the Lot in the aggregate is 360 000 000 GBP (180 000 000 GBP each for both AMP7 and AMP8). The provision of Infrastructure works in the South London region. Estimated value of the lot in the aggregate is 420 000 000 GBP (210 000 000 GBP each for both AMP7 and AMP8). The provision of infrastructure works in the Thames Valley region. Estimated value of the lot in the aggregate 200 000 000 GBP (100 000 000 GBP each for both AMP7 and AMP8). Potential projects consist of: 1) Procurement of a new sewage treatment works at Guildford Sewage Treatment Works; 2) Procurement required to upgrade Mogden Sewage Treatment Works. Potential projects consist of: 1) Procurement of a new sewage treatment works at Guildford Sewage Treatment Works, indicative contract value 60 000 000 GBP-70 000 000 GBP; 2) Procurement required to ensure Mogden Sewage Treatment Works is resilient and optimised to treat sewage and sludge with changing weather patterns and population growth. Indicative contract value 80 000 000 GBP-130 000 000 GBP. It is intended that these will be separate stand-alone procurement activities with separate contract notices.
