Tender description

The school will be looking for a IT provider that can: — provide a high standard of IT provision to students and staff, — encourage and enable students, staff and visitors to use our IT provision without issues, ensuring that teaching and learning is maintained and enhanced, — represent excellent value for money, — work with the curriculum via a range of ‘added value’ initiatives, — support the local community via local purchasing/supplies/services, — supply a responsive, flexible and ‘bespoke’ approach to the school. The section A schedules provide the information we require to evaluate and identify the right potential IT provider. We require you to respond directly to these schedules and submit only the information we request. We have decided not to issue a maximum page-per-schedule instruction for all sections but would advise that the scoring and evaluation process will take account of your efforts to present clear, accurate information only in sufficient volume to respond to the schedule. Please do not insert standard company literature into your responses. You have opportunity to include any additional general information that you believe is worthy of note within the other information section. Please do not allow your responses to miss the point or appear to not answer our questions by being over worded and over elaborate. Clear, precise responses acknowledging what has been requested are the key to maximizing your scoring opportunity. Please note that any responses that are not in the order given, may well be disregarded — so ensure you follow the schedules in the order we have asked. Font size 10 is strongly preferred for the documentation.
