Tender description

Provision of Cable Record (AutoCAD) Drawing Services NIE Networks seeks to appoint a suitably experienced organisation onto a framework for the provision of Cable Record ( Autocad) Drawing Services. Northern Ireland Electricity Networks will provide the survey data they have available and ordnance survey maps for the route of the cable. For details of how the drawings shall be completed please see Code of Practice 1/-12 included in the tender package. It will be expected that several sections will be issued at one time and will be completed and returned to Northern Ireland Electricity Networks within one month of receipt, these will be commented on by Northern Ireland Electricity Engineers and returned to you for correction, amendment or issue of final copy. It will be expected that the contractor and NIE contract coordinator will meet regularly to review any issues that might arise. The framework will be for a three year period from 1st April 2020 –31st March 2023. The award protocol is to appoint two Tenderers onto the framework agreement. It is anticipated that Tenderers will be ranked in order of the Most Economically Advantageous Tenders. The contract will be awarded to the top two Tenderers and these will be ranked first and second. For each work package the company ranked first will be approached in the first instance. Work packages will only be offered to the company ranked second, if the company ranked first is unable to deliver the work package within the required timescale. It is envisaged that each work package will be awarded to the Tenderer in first place, subject to ability to meet timeframes and performance against KPIs”
