Tender description

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service currently obtains Weather Data directly from the Met Office. Included in the current provision is access to Met Office 'Hazard Manager' facility which includes access to 'Chemet' and 'Firemet' functionality which provides SFRS with information specific to Fire Service relating to hazards and conditions. this information is used to inform operational response at incidents. SFRS is not aware of any other provider who can offer such services, however is keen to explore whether there are alternative options within the market.
