Tender description

Defra require measurement data for annual average NO2 roadside concentrations for major urban roads with relevant public exposure across the UK, to be delivered through a new national NO2 monitoring network. The primary aim of this national supplementary monitoring network is to supplement the current Automatic Urban and Rural Network (AURN) and Pollution Climate Mapping (PCM) model NO2 assessment at roadside locations where the difference between the national and local assessments is greatest, so that a more accurate local air quality picture can be reported to the European Commission.
