The development of technical plans to increase the number of cycling paths in the Kilkenny City core area

Tender description

The RFT requests submissions from suitably qualified parties to research the potential of minor paths, lanes and slipways in Kilkenny's city core to optimise cycling access and linkage to the existing and planned cycle lane system elsewhere in the city. The deliverables will include a full report of the various options to extend the cycle network, recommendations on optimum and a full 'metre-by-metre' plans of proposals and estimated costings to the standard required for construction procurement. The parties will be expected to work with project stakeholders in the development of the study. This will include a requirement to attend stakeholder meetings and make presentations on the study findings/ proposals.
