Taxi unmet demand survey 2020.

Tender description

The Council wishes to establish a Contract for the provision of a taxi unmet demand survey in 2020. The contract comprises of a survey to determine if the Council can retain its limitation policy in zone 1 (Bath City Centre)and whether the number of hackney carriage licences in zone 1 should be increased. Specifically, our requirements are: a. To assess the level of demand for hackney carriages in the city of Bath (zone 1). b. To identify unmet demand, and whether this is significant with respect to Section 16 of the 1985 Transport Act. c. To identify public attitudes towards the hackney carriage service provided in zone 1. This request for information is part of an initial market testing exercise to establish if there is an existing market for the provision of this service. Keywords: Surveys, Taxi Demand
