The primary objective of the contract is the secure the right tool for the right workforce group to ensure efficient staff allocation to meet service/patient demand and reduce unnecessary staffing expenditure. Currently only our inpatient units have an e-roster solution (72), as part of this procurement you will supply an advanced e-rostering solution for the current inpatient solution and 300 clinical teams. This is an estimated 6 000 staff spread across the trust, our priority is procuring an advanced e-system for our inpatient units, which allows for acuity management and the ability for flexible workforce deployment across our services before implementation to our community teams. Your solution must be mature with functionality designed around ease of use for the clinical services while offering advanced functionality to allow TEWV to manage its workforce effectively. Our key areas of focus are: — improving the ability to provide flexible rostering demand across services, — acuity based rostering – dynamic deployment of stand based on clinical need, — increasing efficiency of rostering practice, — evolution of workforce roles, — compliance with national guidelines, initiatives and best practice, — understanding/ease of use of reporting by team managers when using reports and dashboards. TEWV currently do not have any e-solution to manage job planning. As part of this procurement you will supply an e-job planning system to be implemented to our AHPs, followed by other professional groups and finally to our community services. As a mental health trust we only operate 5 AHP professions, art psychotherapy, dietitians, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and speech and language therapists, with psychology, social work, chaplaincy and pharmacy being the largest non AHP professional groups outside of nursing. TEWV currently only operates an inpatient nursing bank using an e-solution, however in the coming year this will be expanded to include provision of crisis clinicians, AHPs, community nursing, administration and estate banks with the help of a new e-solution. TEWV is looking for a solution to manage all these staff groups, with solutions that focus on usability and flexibility. TEWV is looking for an advanced e-system to manage its staff deployment and response to mental health incidents in the community. Your solution should provide a live view of staffing and a facility to communicate and dispatch staff to where they are needed. Additionally the key focus is on: — focused on how the team needs to work – community based, — supports scheduling and allocation of referrals, — supports scheduling home based treatment visits, — reduction of travel time and quicker response times.
