Tender description

The City of Edinburgh Council wishes to engage with the market through a market engagement event, concerning a proposed house share and supported lodgings open framework to provide temporary accommodation within Edinburgh. The purpose of this PIN is for prior information and market engagement only and the Council may choose to competitively tender this opportunity at a later date. This accommodation will be suitable for people with no/low support needs. Properties should not exceed 5 bedrooms. Residents will have their own room and share bathroom, kitchen and living/dining space. House share will not have staff located in the property but will require property checks visits. This will be suitable for people with low/medium support needs. Properties must not exceed six bedrooms. Residents will have their own room and share bathroom, kitchen and living/dining space supported lodgings will have a peer support worker living in the property. They will not be required to be in building 24 hours a day. Supported lodgings will offer low level housing support service to residents that need this. Visiting support services will provide support to residents who have a housing support plan and will require access to property to provide this.
