Provision of Weekend and Bank Holiday and Weekday Evening Urgent Dental Care Out of Hours Services for West Midlands - Birmingham, Dudley, Worcester, Hereford, Coventry and Redditch.

NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (NHS AGCSU) on behalf of NHS England - Midlands, referred to as the Commissioners, is inviting suitably qualified and experienced Providers to deliver Weekend, Bank Holiday and Weekday Evening Urgent Dental Care Out of Hours Services for West Midlands (Birmingham, Dudley, Worcester, Hereford, Coventry and Redditch). The Service will provide urgent dental out of hours services for residents in the West Midlands as well as visitors, temporary residents and those signposted into treatment from other neighbouring areas by NHS 111. Urgent dental care services are important in managing severe dental and facial pain by providing definitive dental treatment in circumstances where: • Prompt care and treatment is provided because, in the opinion of the dental practitioner, the person's oral health is likely to deteriorate significantly, or the person is in severe pain by reason of his or her oral condition, and; • Care and treatment is provided only to the extent that is necessary to prevent deterioration in oral health or address severe pain. This procurement is split into lots as detailed below, Bidders may bid for one, all, or any combination of the lots. Only bids for whole lots will be considered. A separate PDS Plus Agreement for each lot will be awarded to the successful bidder. Bidders are required to take their own advice on whether TUPE or COSOP will apply to this tender / Lot they are bidding for and their specific submitted bid. For Weekday Evening Services there are three lots with one provider being required for each of the three lot areas. For Weekend and Bank Holiday Services there are six Lots with one provider being required for each of the six lot areas. LOT 1 Birmingham weekends and bank holidays - contract period of 1/4/2020 to 28/2/2025 & maximum contract value total of £890,428. LOT 2 Dudley weekends and bank holidays - contract period of 1/4/2020 to 28/2/2025 & maximum contract value total of £534,254. LOT 3 Worcester weekends and bank holidays - contract period of 1/4/2020 to 28/2/2025 & maximum contract value total of £445,214. LOT 4 Hereford weekends and bank holidays - contract period of 1/4/2020 to 28/2/2025 & maximum contract value total of £445,214. LOT 5 Coventry weekends and bank holidays - contract period of 1/4/2020 to 28/2/2025 & maximum contract value total of £696,593. LOT 6 Redditch weekends and bank holidays - contract period of 1/4/2020 to 28/2/2025 & maximum contract value total of £534,254. LOT 7 Birmingham weekday evenings - contract period of 1/4/2020 to 31/3/2022 & maximum contract value total of £300,300. LOT 8 Coventry weekday evenings - contract period of 1/4/2020 to 31/3/2022 & maximum contract value total of £300,300.
