The works comprise of ground beam replacement, repair and renewal, and the associated removal/reinstatement of burial memorials to Section F & X of the Cemetery, comprising of :- Plot F: - The renewal of the defective first three memorial rows, and the installation of a new forth row. Plot X: - The renewal of defective memorial rows, as part of a rolling programme of replacement The works Installation of Memorial Concrete Beams • Allow fully protecting and securing site. • Excavate trench for proposed strip foundation. • Consolidate sub-soil base; Prepare granular sub-base bedding and lay type 1 granular sub base. • Allow for shuttering and lay 300mm deep reinforced concrete beam.(or precast beam to contractors choice) • Structural strengthening and/or remedial works to existing memorials - Dowel installation • Memorial re-erection • Re dress topsoil and make good surround, prepare and grass seed. • Removal of all waste materials Keywords: Memorial Beams, Landscaping, Cemetery, Ground beams, Stone mason, Memorials
