Tender description

The Isle of Wight Council are seeking to deliver an independent advocacy service which meets the needs of Island residents. The service will be easily accessible, clear in their duty and professional boundaries, responsive and timely. The successful providers of this service will ensure a high quality service which complies with the Care and Support (Independent Advocacy Support) (No 2) Regulations 2014. They will adhere to and deliver the key principles of the NDTi Advocacy Charter. The Isle of Wight Council is engaging with potential service providers for IMHA, IMCA and Care Act Advocacy and related services to inform our planned procurement later this year. The purpose of this market engagement exercise is to: — gauge interest in this opportunity, — help determine our procurement strategy and approach, — identify innovative ideas that can improve our local provision, — identify options to make the service more sustainable, — inform the development of our service specification.
