Tender description
Cheshire East Council wishes to commission a range of housing related support services, essentially the provision of short — term hostel accommodation, or support that maintains independent living through support at a client’s home. The requirement is split into 8 lots, to cover the North and South areas of the Cheshire East region providers will be required to support: single homeless and rough sleepers, homeless families, young people, older people with support needs, teenage parents, people affected with drug and alcohol misuse, people with disabilities, offenders or people at risk of offending, people affected with mental health issues, resettlement from supported housing. New contracts are required to start from 1.4.2020 and TUPE may apply. Cheshire East Council has a desire to prevent and reduce homelessness, and has a strong commitment to early intervention to ensure prevention of homelessness takes place as early as possible whenever possible. Floating support is such an intervention to prevent homelessness, seeking to support health and well-being through appropriate support to service-users, preventing them from falling into further crisis and reducing potential demand for more expensive social care, health services, and for homelessness services. This lot covers the North of the Borough and involves going into a service-user’s home to provide the support they need. Note: The participation and process for this tender will be via the electronic tendering portal located at www.the-chest.org.uk The expected annual value is 110 000 GBP and 55 units will be required. To this end, 30 units of accommodation with support are sought in the North of Cheshire East. Note: The participation and process for this tender will be via the electronic tendering portal located at www.the-chest.org.uk Expected annual value for this lot is 165 000 GBP. Cheshire East Council is seeking a support provider to provide accommodation and support to service users with complex needs and/or over 25 and/or with mental health problems, providing stability and a suitable housing solution with a continuity of care in place for each person. To this end, 27 units of accommodation with support are sought in the South of Cheshire East. Note: The participation and process for this tender will be via the electronic tendering portal located at www.the-chest.org.uk Expected annual value for this lot is 125 000 GBP. Cheshire East is seeking a support provider to provide accommodation and support to service users under 25, those who can be fast tracked due to low support needs and women and families, providing stability and a suitable housing solution with a continuity of care in place for each person. To this end, 20 units of accommodation with support are sought in the North of Cheshire East. Note: The participation and process for this tender will be via the electronic tendering portal located at www.the-chest.org.uk Expected annual value for this lot is 65 000 GBP. Cheshire East is seeking a support provider to provide accommodation and support to service users under 25, those who can be fast tracked due to low support needs and women and families, providing stability and a suitable housing solution with a continuity of care in place for each person. To this end, 18 units of accommodation with support in the South of Cheshire East. Note: The participation and process for this tender will be via the electronic tendering portal located at www.the-chest.org.uk Expected annual value for this lot is 55 000 GBP. Cheshire East is seeking a support provider to provide accommodation and support to service users sleeping rough or at risk of sleeping rough, providing stability and a suitable housing solution with a continuity of care in place for each person. To this end, 12 units of accommodation with support are sought in the North of Cheshire East. Note: The participation and process for this tender will be via the electronic tendering portal located at www.the-chest.org.uk Expected annual value for this lot is 20 000 GBP. Cheshire East is seeking a support provider to provide accommodation and support to service users sleeping rough or at risk of sleeping rough, providing stability and a suitable housing solution with a continuity of care in place for each person. NFNO — No first night out. To this end, 24 units of accommodation with support are sought in the North of Cheshire East and 18 units of accommodation with support in the South of Cheshire East. Note: The participation and process for this tender will be via the electronic tendering portal located at www.the-chest.org.uk Expected annual value for this lot is 40 000 GBP.
