GB-Middlesbrough: Student Residential Acommodation Managed Network Service

Tender description

The University's Student Residential Accommodation network is currently provisioned and managed by a 3rd party ISP provider, providing a 100Mb wired connection to each student bed space, WiFi and IPTV services. To bring the Student Residential Accommodation Network in line with other accommodation providers the tenderer is required to provide a solution with a baseline LAN connection of a minimum 100Mb synchronous with a 'broadband roadmap' for the standard package which commits to an increase in speed throughout each year of the contract. Student residences vary in location, age, size and design. The contract will be for a period of 5 years - 1st September 2020 - 31st August 2025. The solution proposed must include pervasive Wi-Fi and should include social areas in each of the buildings.
