Tender description
This is a prior information notice only. Publication and a call for competition will be conducted once the scope of work is fully defined and approved. Improving Pakistan’s Water and Natural Resources Governance (IPWG) programme will help strengthen Pakistan’s management of its water to meet future population, agricultural and economic needs, and provide resilience to shocks and climate change. IPWG aligns with the Pakistan government’s forestry, water and agricultural management priorities. Pakistan is facing a significant water governance issue which will be exacerbated with climate change. Wide-scale degradation of the natural resource base including heavy deforestation is also impacting the health of its water systems. The programme aims to improve the management and use of water and natural resources so to prepare the country for sustained climate resilient growth. This is a prior information notice only.
