FM0965 - Framework for EPCs and DECs for Wiltshire Council

Tender description

Wiltshire Council are inviting interested providers to join a new framework for the provision of Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) (Lot 1) and Display Energy Certificates (DECs) (Lot 2). The council has a stock of properties for which non-domestic EPCs are required at regular intervals, currently at a rate of around 60 per annum - to be reviewed subject to the ongoing impact of MEES legislation. There is also a requirement for domestic EPCs in a small number of properties. The council is looking to employ external DEC assessors for its operational buildings (not schools) on an ad hoc basis – there are around 20 properties with a DEC requirement at this time, which will be shared between external and internal DEC assessors depending on workload and location. EPC and DEC assessors will need to be suitably qualified and able to demonstrate this along with previous relevant work experience, and capability. EPCs specifically will require a draft XML to be raised and provided prior to lodgement which may result in a requirement for a second EPC visit post any improvement works. Contract will be awarded on 4/12/2019 and will run for a period of four years. Keywords: dec, energy, epc
