Tender description

RVS partially fund match this existing service by providing £42,000 per year (totalling £126,000 over the proposed 3 years) from that charitable donations towards the value of this contract. It is proposed that LCC would provide £59,000 per year, totalling £177,000 over 3 years. If we were to run a tender or pursue any other provider the match funding would not be available, and therefore the service would not be viable on LCC funding alone, impacting patient flow from the acute hospitals. Therefore, as a result of it's unique funding arrangements, this is arguably a specialist service, as it cannot be provided by any other means.
