Tender description

Scottish Water is seeking a contractor(s) to provide a comprehensive end-to-end managed hire desk service 24/7, 365 days a year. Contractor(s) will be required to provide small tools and plant hire and also engage with Scottish Water’s supply chain for all operated plant hire and car and commercial vehicle hire to support its capital and operational delivery programmes. Scottish Water is seeking a contractor(s) to provide a comprehensive end-to-end managed hire desk service 24/7, 365 days a year. Contractor(s) will be required to provide small tools and plant hire and also engage with Scottish Water’s supply chain for all operated plant hire and car and commercial vehicle hire to support its capital and operational delivery programmes. The successful contractor will be required to engage with current Scottish Water suppliers for the provision of operated plant but provide their own equipment for all major self-drive plant items including excavators, road rollers, dumpers, access equipment, air tools, compressors, cleaning, compaction, concreting, ground care, heating, lighting, material handling, painting, maintenance, plumbing, power, road working, safety, security fencing, sawing, surveying, communication, consumables, diamond cutting, non-mechanical generators below 10 KV and small tools. It will be the responsibility of the successful contractor to provide access to data recordings, storage and management of all records that are associated with any equipment supplied. The above listings are only indicated as a guideline and Scottish Water reserves the right to expand the listing in relation to any type of Self-drive plant hire equipment that is associated with the water industry and would be deemed relevant in any working environment. Scottish Water will require that all contractors or suppliers who contract through this procurement will gain or hold a minimum health and safety and quality standard to Scottish Water Requirements.
