Building Based Respite

For the avoidance of doubt this is not a Call for Competition, this is to facilitate market engagement and soft market testing, following an initial scoping exercise. The council is seeking responses from the independent marketplace about their ability to provide Building Based Respite, also known as short breaks. The provision of building based (overnight) respite to adults, aged 18 years old+, who have a primary diagnosis of a Learning Disability and/or Autism. In addition, some people may display behavious that challenge, have profound and multiple disabilities, limited or no verbal communication, have other physical health issues. People using the service may require support with personal care. The service may provide both "planned" respite and support in case of an emergency.
