BY INVITATION ONLY - FRAMEWORK BEING UTILISED BIG001-1055 Pre-paid Cards The National Lottery Community Fund wish to secure the services of a provider for a prepaid card solution. The Fund paid out over £600m in grant payments in 2018/19. The vast majority of these were paid via BACs directly into verified grant holder bank accounts. Increasingly, to align with our Ppeople in the Llead Sstrategic Fframework, we have been exploring other methods of payment in order to make National Lottery funding accessible to a wider range of recipient. Pilot schemes have been undertaken through our existing contract but with the expiry of this contract, it is necessary to retender for this service. There is an expectation of continuing to use prepaid cards for existing uses (international travel advances and low volume, low value grant programmes). In addition to this, and significantly for this procurement, we require this contract to deliver the payment method for up to £2 million grant funding (expected to be across 2000 grants across the UK) in relation to a programme celebrating the 25th Aanniversary of the National Lottery.
