Autoclaves

Tender description

We require Direct Steam Autoclaves (Lot 1), Dishwashers (Lot 2) and ancillary items (Lot 3), We envisage buying three autoclaves of the same model and specification to be installed the same facility; the Manchester Institute of Biotechnology. Each unit is envisaged to have an independent steam supply with valves to switch to a common steam header when/if required. The 3 autoclaves will be housed in one line with infill panels and access doors. Reference drawings can be supplied upon request. One autoclave and two dish washers will be housed in a temporary location as the MIB will undergo a refit of the existing facility and a temporary location will be used in close proximity to the MIB (The Masdar Building). UKAS certification will be required for all installations. Steam considerations for the three autoclaves and (up to) 4 steam Dishwashers. Suppliers can suggest numbers/schemes of steam management to service the three newly purchase Autoclaves and up to four dishwashers in the final MIB facility. Suppliers will be invited to propose their solution to meet the project requirements and engineering drawings are available upon request. These could be variations of: — Each Autoclave has integrated steam generation, with a distribution option, — Additional steam generators can be supplied, — Dishwashers can be powered only (see Lot two), — Supplying steam to the existing (two) washers and addition steam capacity for two new proposed washers, — New four dish washer package for Lot two (steam or Powered). We envisage buying up to two dishwashers for the facility, the two existing washers (steam) will have to be considered for steam. Both will be direct steam fed or Electrically powered and single point front loading. Two dishwashers will be located in a temporary location and will require re-installation. The facility end user wish to support the autoclave activity with the following specialist ancillary items that supplier may wish to offer.
