Apprenticeship Training Framework for the University of Birmingham - finance standards

Tender description

The University of Birmingham is planning to engage a number of apprentices in the Finance Department over the next 3 years in support of the University strategy to develop local talent and support entry points into the University talent pipeline. In addition the University will utilise apprenticeship training for existing staff where a role clearly meets the definition of an apprentice. The University wishes to use the Apprenticeship Levy paid by it to discharge eligible training costs charged by the Training Provider, and by other training providers, in connection with apprenticeship training provided to: * Employees currently employed by the University; and * Employees to be recruited by the University to commence employment October 2019 and thereafter. (in each case \"Apprentices\") undertaking Apprenticeship Frameworks and Standards normally at Apprenticeship Levels 2, 3, 4 and 5.
