Technical Secretary/Expert for the development of a Solar Photovoltaic standard with NSAI and SEAI

Tender description

The objective of this Request for Tender is to procure technical support via a ‘Technical Secretary/Expert’ for the development of a Standard Recommendation for the design, installation and commissioning of solar photovoltaic systems for domestic dwellings with SEAI and the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI). The Standard Recommendation (S.R.) will be developed and written to provide detailed guidance to designers, installers and specifiers (engineers, contractors, architects, surveyors, and inspection authorities etc.) to ensure that solar photovoltaic systems are designed, installed and commissioned correctly for the dwelling in which they are installed, and meet the specified performance requirements and manufacturer’s criteria.
