Tender description

The College provides 6th form and adult education to circa 3 100 students. The College is based in a modern building that is approximately 11 years old. Historically the ICT has been facilitated by an 'in house' ICT team. Six months ago the college decided to outsource elements of the ICT support and a contract for 12 months was let to provide escalated support. The College has now decided that it wishes to fully outsource the ICT, including TUPE of staff and full management, supply, support and installation of equipment. This will be for a maximum period of 5 years with a review at 3 years. The new service will have a start date of 1.9.2020 The procurement will be structured to focus on the college needs for ICT to support teaching, learning and management in both a cost effective and innovative way. The proposed evolution of the service over the 5 years will also be important so that the college ICT Service can support new technologies and methods of working into the future.
