Supply and Installation of Prefabricated Automatic/Semi-Automatic Public Conveniences in Galway City

Tender description

The Contract is for the Supply and Installation of one Public Convenience Unit at Palmer’s Rock, Salthill, Galway City with options for the Supply and Installation of Other Public Convenience Units in Galway City over the next 3years. The Contract also includes for the Maintenance of the Public Conveniences for a Warranty Period of 3 years with an option to extend the Maintenance for a further 2 years. The Contract is for the Supply and Installation of different types of Prefabricated Public Conveniences (as set out in the tender documents as individual lots) including all associated works for the installation as required such as;- • Removal and Disposal of Existing Automated Public Convenience • Civil Works if required for Foundation Slab and Part M Accessible Ramp • Supply and Installation of Public Convenience • Plumbing and connection to water supply and wastewater system • Electrical Installation Works by a Certified Electrician • Connection of electricity supply to the Public Conveniences Lots for Prefabricated Automatic/Semi-Automatic Public Conveniences LOT 1 Supply and Installation of a new Prefabricated Public Convenience (one cubicle DDA (Part M Compliant Disabled Toilet). LOT 2 Supply and Installation of a new Prefabricated Public Convenience (Two cubicles with one DDA (Part M Compliant Disabled Toilet) and one unisex toilet). LOT 3 Supply and Installation of a new Prefabricated Public Convenience comprising of a 3m x 4m Changing Place in accordance with the requirements of BS8300:2018. LOT 4 Supply and Installation of a new Prefabricated Public Convenience (Two cubicles with one DDA (Part M Compliant Disabled Toilet) and one public shower unit)). Galway City Council reserves the right to select either, any or none of the above lots. Contractor to be appointed PSCS and PSDP.
