Tender description

The purpose of the procurement exercise will be intended to establish a framework agreement which Public Health England would call-off their requirements for the stockpile of emergency medicines. This includes the provision of: atropine PFS, ciprofloxacin tablets (including 100 mg strength) ciprofloxacin suspension andciprofloxacin injection and doxycycline capsules. The duration of the framework agreement is 2 years from April 2021 with an option to extend for up to anadditional 24 months. The awarding of lots is not appropriate for this procurement, this is a framework agreement (potentially multisupplier). From time to time during the period of the framework agreement, call-off orders (each being a contract in its own right) for specified volumes will be placed by the authority or its authorised agent with a supplierselected in accordance with the award criteria that will be contained in the invitation to offer.
