The authority has a requirement for the design and manufacture of a high voltage load bank for use as a dummy load. The UK Atomic Energy Authority is a non-departmental government body carrying out research into the potential of nuclear fusion as a future source of energy. The scope of work for the design and build of this isolation transformer could include (but is not limited to): detail design work, manufacturing drawings, quality documentation, inspection and acceptance testing, delivery to Culham Science Centre. The responses to this notice and any subsequent conversations with suppliers will inform a future invitation to tender.
