This is a prior information notice to make the market aware of potential future requirements for the Home Office. If pursued services are anticipated to commence in April 2021. The Home Office is keen to engage with potential suppliers who can provide either freight searching and escorting of persons in Northern France or the provision of search dogs and handlers in Northern France or both of these services. The authority has a requirement to provide security services to support its operational activities by examining vehicles for the purpose of identifying and denying admission to people entering or attempting to enter in breach of the Immigration Act. These activities will primarily take place in ports in Northern France with potential scope to include further ports in the Netherlands and Belgium. Any ports in addition to those in Northern France would be subject to agreement and approval from host nations after a joint future risk assessment.
