Tender description

In line with Leicestershire County Council’s (LCC) Adult social care (ASC) vision and strategy 2016-2020 ‘Promoting Independence, Supporting Communities’ the authority wishes to work with providers who can demonstrate and deliver a progressive model of supported living (SL) which achieves and maintains value for money and which can meet individuals’ outcomes and support needs. The DPS follows the guidance of PCR 2015 Part 2, Chapter 2, Section 4 Reg 34. For further information please see the specification within the procurement documents. This is a procurement to set up a DPS for supported living services primarily across the county of Leicestershire. The authority has in place already, a framework for SL provision until 31.3.2021. However, the authority wishes to set up a DPS in addition, to address identified gaps and capacity within current provision. Supported living packages will first be offered to existing providers under the terms of the framework agreement for the provision of the supported living service 2017-2021, before becoming available via the DPS. The DPS will be made available for use by any public sector bodies within the UK including, but not limited to: (a) Local Authority Establishments; (b) Police and Emergency Services; (c) NHS and HSC Bodies; (d) Central Government Departments and their agencies; (e) Registered Charities; (f) Courts and Justice system.
