Fleet Management System including Vehicle Telematics (GPS)

Tender description

St Michael's House (SMH) currently operates a fleet of 127 vehicles serving 25 regular routes which ensure that service users can access their day service from home each day. Funding for the provision of transport is a significant challenge for the organisation. For this reason, SMH acknowledges the need to be creative and solution-focused in the provision of transport services. The opportunity presented by new technology to support the SMH Transport Department in its endeavours is recognised. Accordingly, SMH is seeking the provision of a fully working, modern and responsive fleet management tool to support the organisation in meeting all statutory and legal requirements for its vehicle fleet. SMH now invites applications from suitably qualified companies to participate in the Pre Qualification process for the provision of a Fleet Management System including Vehicle Telematics (GPS). The system will be scalable to accommodate expansion or contraction of the fleet during the contract term, in accordance with the SMH transport operation. In addition, the system will be capable of operating within the SMH IT infrastructure (Internet Explorer 11, Windows 7), and over the organisation’s WAN network.
