Tender description
The subject matter of this competition is divided into three (3) separate lots: Lot 1: campus; Lot 2: innovation and entrepreneurship; Lot 3: sport. Candidates are advised to read the following outlines of each lot to determine which lots they wish to tender for. Candidates are reminded that if they apply for Lot 1, they must also apply for Lot 2 and Lot 3. More detailed information will be provided to candidates that have achieved the minimum requirements set out in this RTP. Lot 1: Campus, covers a wide range of opportunities to increase brand visibility and engagement among the University’s student, alumni and staff communities, and with over 2 million visitors p.a. Lot 1 includes the exclusive right to occupy a 2-storey retail unit and to operate its three ATM points. More details can be found in the RTP and released to participants during the course of the procurement process. The University has developed an ambitious strategic roadmap which includes the creation of a new Dublin innovation district at Silicon Docks, the expansion of Trinity Technology and Enterprise Campus (TTEC), and further development of its existing dedicated business unit, tangent innovation and entrepreneurship hub. Lot 2: innovation and entrepreneurship, entails financial support for these developments, plus a host of additional opportunities in the form of collaborations and sponsors. Lot 3: sport, presents commercial and corporate brand building benefits which support investment in the University’s sports, health and wellbeing initiatives and facilities, including: — naming rights for sports facilities, awards, programmes, scholarships, and wider sporting events, — corporate hospitality via use of sports and leisure facilities, and — access to sports management, nutrition and health research outputs.
