Tender description

Provision of fabrication to Severn Trent Water Ltd (STW) and Hafren Dyfrdwy Ltd (HD) and on both water and waste sites and assets. This might include (but not limited to) types of works such as hand railing, covers, access platforms, gridding and general fabrication. It will be a framework agreement with one or multiple operators. The framework may be awarded as individual lots or as a combination of lots. STW reserves the right to make a partial award/bundle lots as required. There will be 7 lots under this framework. Suppliers can bid for any lot. Duration of the framework will be for a maximum of 8 years comprising of an initial award of 3 years with an option to extend. Lot 7 is the gridding inspections which is an agreed programme will ensure that 10 % of STW and HD gridding is surveyed each year and in line with the Gridding Standard. This will include carrying out gridding surveys, using the correct colour code on clips, fitting missing clips and replacing corroded clips. Remedial scope will also need to be recorded and submitted to the utilities including measurements and photographs.
