Tender description

The Council currently has cyclo heating (also known as 'Cyclo-control') supplies installed at various blocks across the borough. Cyclo meters were installed in estate blocks which are within the old London Electricity Board region. As the default supplier EDF have a protected off-peak tariff offered to LBBD. In order to test the market and ensure value for money, other suppliers including laser and Npower were contacted to see if they could offer this service, but they do not have capacity to support cyclo meters. LBBD has therefore directly awarded the contract to EDF for the period of 6 months. This contract is a direct award to EDF energy for the provision of electricity services involving cyclo meters for a period of 6 months.
