Staffordshire County Council has appointed counselling and psychology providers to work with our workforce to provide early intervention support that will assist our employees when they experience mental well-being concerns. As we know that early help can make all the difference to assist employees to maximise their mental well-being and support them to remain in work and/or return to work as soon as possible. The council operates a service called ThinkWell that provides a range of support to the workforce and supports managers regarding the mental well-being of the workforce. Part of this service is the provision of a range of counselling and psychological well-being professional interventions for employees. Staffordshire County Council (the Council) has awarded a range of organisations/individual professionals to complement its employed occupational health and health and Safety professionals to deliver a range of prevention and early intervention support services to the workforce under a framework agreement for triage services and counselling services.
