Construction work for halls of residence

Tender description

Newcastle University is planning to demolish and replace its Castle Leazes halls of residences. As part of the planning for this project we are considering all construction options and methodologies available to us. The University is issuing this PIN to invite interested parties to participate in pretender discussions to enable the University to understand and progress with the most appropriate procurement route. The development will provide up to 2 000 student bedrooms in a mixture of catered and self catered options with related infrastructure and services and will incorporate the latest developments in student lifestyle choices and options. This PIN is to invite contractors to engage in pretender discussions to determine the most appropriate contracting route. If the project proceeds the University will follow an appropriate procurement and contracting route informing the market as required.
