Tender description

Hampshire County Council is intending to procure social care services to support older adults' independence within a purpose built, mixed tenure, extra-care scheme to be located in Romsey in the Test Valley district in Hampshire. When built, the scheme will comprise 54 flats and is anticipated to open in the spring of 2021. The estimated contract value has yet to be determined. Prior to starting the procurement the Council is inviting organisations interested in providing these services to an early market engagement event to consider the care provision that might be required within the scheme, with particular reference to: 24/7 service delivery, residents' well-being, the care provider — housing management relationship and on-site community hub activity. The market engagement event is taking place in Winchester on 15.11.2019 (9.30 a.m.-12.45 p.m.). Please see Section ‘II 2.14) Additional Information’ below to access more details. The Council anticipates running a procurement under the Public Contracts Regulations ‘light touch regime’. The procurement is anticipated to be a call-off from the Council's ‘Help To Live At Home’ open framework. Organisations interested in bidding will need to have been accepted on to the ‘Help To Live At Home’ open framework to participate in the procurement, although will not need to in order to attend the market engagement event (to register on the ‘Help To Live At Home’ open framework please see https://in-tendhost.co.uk/hampshire/aspx/ProjectManage/8860). Please note: there will not be a contract notice published for this opportunity as it will be a call-off from the ‘Help To Live At Home’ open framework. It is anticipated that providers on the ‘Help To Live At Home’ open framework will be notified of the call-off on or around 8.9.2020.
