Trafford Council wish to invite providers to express their interest for the provision of Trafford Youth Cabinet. Trafford Youth Cabinet has been running for over 10 years. It is a group for young volunteers who live or go to school in Trafford. It meets weekly and aims to improve the lives of children and young people in Trafford. The successful provider will be expected to promote the group of a mixture of schools and geographical areas to encourage a diverse membership to represent all children across the Borough. In particular, the provider should seek to encourage young people who previously or currently access and have experiences of different children and young people’s services offered within the Trafford Borough. The youth cabinet listen to other young people in Trafford through their annual ‘Let’s Talk’ conferences for primary, secondary and SEND pupils. They are also linked to regional and national groups of young people through the Youthforia regional youth group and the national United Kingdom Youth Parliament. They will also lead on recruitment, national and local events. Request For Quotation will be issued shortly which will provide further details.
