Tender description

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator for health and social care services in England. We monitor, inspect and regulate services to make sure they meet fundamental standards of quality and safety and we publish what we find including performance ratings to help people choose care. CQC has a legal duty to engage the public in the development of its work and public engagement and insight are integral to ensuring CQC delivers its purpose. It enables us to understand what matters to people who use services, consequently helping to build public trust. This empowers the public to make choices around services and know what they should expect in terms of quality of care. It also enables CQC to meet its statutory requirements as set out in the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (and amended in 2013).
