Tender description

Installation of hard wired smoke, heat and CO detectors to residential supported housing for older and vulnerable people. The installations must connect to and be compatible with previously installed Gent and Legrand alarm systems. The contracts have been procured via quick quote procurement as the value of the works is less than the Reform Act threshold. This Notice is being issued to fulfil the requirements of Bield Housing Care's internal procedures. The works comprise the installation of interlinked hard wired and/or battery smoke, heat and CO Detectors, including interface units and full commissioning to residential supported housing and vulnerable people. The new installations require to be connected to existing Gent and Legrand systems within the properties. These works can only be carried out by Gent and Legrand approved contractors and the association already has maintenance contracts with Gent and Legrand approved contractors who will install and carry out the ongoing maintenance to the full installations.
