Living and Learning Communities, Engagement, Facilitation,Training and Capacity Building in Digital Audio and Film to Communicate Community Activity

Delivery of Engagement, Facilitation,Training and Capacity Building to a maximum of 21 Community Groups and/or projects using the medium of audio and film production. Delivery of the project will be over 3 Geographical Areas comprising of the Ballyhoura Development area of North Cork and County Limerick and in the Clare Local Development Company area. In addition to the engagement, facilitation, training and capacity building outcomes of the project should include: • The creation of 21 Audio Pieces of duration 1 0–20 minutes (5 –9 Audio pieces per area) Max 21 • The Creation of 12 Films of duration 12-20 minutes (3-5 films per area ) Max 12 • The Creation of 12 Films of duration 2- 4 minutes (3-5 films per area) Max 12 • The Creation of 6 films of duration 30-60 minutes (2 films per area) Max 6 • The Creation of 1 Collaborative film across all three geographical areas It is expected that 15-20 hours of audio and 30-50 hours of film footage per area will be generated by the community groups as part of the process. The final pieces created by the community through the training as part of the project should receive a screening/airing within the community and training is to be provided to the communities to achieve this.
