Tender description

The National Physical Laboratory [NPL] requirement is for a portable spectrometer capable of collecting hyperspectral reflectance data in the field. The purpose of this system is to support the current Earth Observation, Climate and Optical (ECO) group’s hyperspectral reflectance measurement capabilities. The instrument will be used for a variety of purposes including satellite validation, ground test site characterisation, and laboratory measurements. The system needs to be able to work across the 350-2 500 nm wavelength range, provide a variety of viewing optics (irradiance and radiance), and provide transportation equipment (backpacks, walking stand, etc.).
