Tender description

The supply and distribution of a wide range of laboratory and medical consumables and laboratory chemicals including: plastic and glass beakers, tubes, flasks, vials, pipette equipment, pipette service and pipette tips; syringe filters, filter papers, growth chambers, well-plates and petri dishes; gloves, lab coats and specs; autoclave bags, thermal label printers; swabs, razors, catheters, scalpels, blood collection sets and general purpose chemicals. These products are intended for use in research and education. This tender is not for products used exclusively by Life Sciences. SUPC is acting as the lead organisation on behalf of its members and also members of the Higher Education Purchasing Consortium Wales (HEPCW), the London Universities Purchasing Consortium (LUPC), The North East Universities Purchasing Consortium (NEUPC) and the North West Universities Purchasing Consortium (NWUPC). The supply of Plastic Consumables - Teaching/Non Branded (generic specification)including: tubes, containers, flasks, well plates, petri dishes, etc. Includes Pipette Tips The supply of Consumables – Research/Branded (or equivalents) defined by Research Protocols: Plastic and Filtration ranges from: Axygen, Becton Dickinson, Corning, Eppendorf, Millipore, Sterilin, Nalgene, Nunc. Includes Pipette Tips. The supply of pipette sets including equipment, spares and parts for the same brand. The supply of gloves to a generic specification. The supply of Personal and Laboratory Protection Consumables including: aprons, coats, wipes, overshoes, surface cleaning, sharps bins, spill kits, respirators, safety specs and goggles. The supply of Filtration Consumables including: syringe filters, filter papers, bottle top filters and filter sets. The supply of Glass Consumables including: Beakers, Capillaries, Flasks, Bottles, Vials, Containers and tubes.
