Tender description

The authority, in collaboration with City of York Council (CYC) and the Office of the police, fire and crime commissioner (OPFCC), wishes to award a contract for domestic abuse accommodation-based support services. The accommodation-based support provides victims and survivors and their families, invaluable support to enable them to come to terms with the abuse they have suffered and/or witnessed. Support is provided to help develop independent living skills to enable victims, survivors and their families to return to mainstream accommodation. The accommodation element of the service is provided in the form of refuges in Harrogate, Northallerton and York owned by social landlords, as well as dispersed properties owned by private landlords, in the Scarborough area. This contract is being procured under the light touch regime in accordance with Section 7, social and other specific services, of the Public Contract Regulations 2015. The procurement process will follow the principles of an OJEU open process in accordance with Regulation 27 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
