Tender description

Derbyshire County Council are planning to procure a new framework agreement for external day services. This framework offers choices to people with a health or social care need for day services or day opportunities on a spot purchasing basis and is key to enabling people to live more independently. A light touch procurement regime (LTR) will be used to evaluate and procure organisations to form the framework. A LTR leaves room to design procurement procedures and applies to health care and certain other services. In line with the LTR, the specification is designed to give flexibility to the Provider to deliver creative services based on the needs and outcomes of individuals. The framework will re-open on a bi-annual basis throughout the lifespan of the contract: Open: July 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 Open: December 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 It will remain open for 4 weeks.
