Tender description

This invitation to tender is for the procurement of a framework agreement (intention to appoint multiple provider(s) to the framework agreement) for home care services. Homecare is the term used to describe domiciliary care services. These services will be commissioned by Medway Council (MC) in order to meet the assessed needs and desired outcomes of Service User’s (SU’s). The ultimate aims of this service are to ensure that SU’s are as independent as possible and providers work in an enabling way that maximises and promotes the SU’s independence and does not foster dependence. The provider should aim for the SU to be enabled with appropriate care and support in their own homes to improve their health and independence by encouraging them to utilise appropriate Volunteer Community Services (VCS), Healthy Lifestyle Services (HLS) and Social Prescribing Services (SP’s) and does not foster dependence.
