Tender description

East Sussex County Council, with its partner Clinical Commissioning Groups in East Sussex are looking at a holistic response to the needs of people with a complex presentation, which will include elements of, but not limited to, accommodation based solutions, community based responses and health provider interactions. This contract is for the provision of care and support, as well as an organisation to take on the housing management of the property. The form of the submission can be either one entity or organisation taking on the contract, or a housing provider and care and support provider acting in partnership through one bid. A single provider is required to evidence appropriate separation between the ‘Care and Support’ and ‘Housing Management’ functions. The new service is purpose built comprising 6 self-contained one bedroom flats and a 2 story building incorporating two ‘short stay’ flats and staff space. The Service at Greenacres is part of a wider response to meet the need for people with a learning disability and behaviour that challenges. It is part of the East Sussex area response to the transforming care programme.
