Lancashire County Council is issuing this PIN to gauge interest in the opportunity for grounds maintenance services to various educational establishments within the Lancashire area. This prior information notice is being issued to gauge interest for a tender which Lancashire County Council Procurement Service will publish later in the year. The opportunity will be for grounds maintenance services to various educational establishments within the Lancashire area and the work will commence March/April 2020. Various schools/educational establishments within the Lancashire area will be 'batched' into relevant groups/areas and tenderers will be able to select the batch(es) they wish to bid for. Lancashire County Council will be holding a supplier information afternoon on 18.11.2019 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at County Hall, Preston. Interested companies should register their interest and confirm attendance via email to: casprocurement@lancashire.gov.uk The supplier day will be an opportunity for tenderers to ask any questions regarding the procurement and for discussions regarding the grounds maintenance services. The estimated value of the contract is based on a 3 year contract. The number of establishments to be tendered will be finalised in the coming weeks.
