Fire Action Remedial Work

Tender description

This project is to carryout replacements and repairs to the building to comply with current fire regulations. It is our aim to replace chosen 30 minute and hour fire check doors to the current regulations, these are highlighted throughout a suite of drawings, marked up with a description. Other highlighted issues such as minor and major breaches through fire compartmented walls will also need to be addressed, mainly by the use of fire-retardant cement. Other areas of concern are smoke seals which will need replacing in many areas of the site. Contractors wishing to apply will need to have a flexible approach that fits in with the Institutes on going science.
