Tender description

The construction of a new park: the works are to be undertaken on behalf of SDCC and include the construction of a public park. It includes significant earth work, drainage works, hard and soft landscape works, sport facilities, a building with changing facilities and cafe and specialised works (via a novated specialist) for playgrounds. It is also a requirement to realign the existing Tober stream so that it runs along the western boundary of the park. Some small pedestrian bridges are also required to be constructed over the stream. The earth works include several cuts and fills along the site and earth shaping and moulding in order to meet the design levels on the footpaths, the pitch and the slopes as designed. Landscape works include earth shaping, some retaining elements, fine cultivation, seeding with grass and wildflower seeds, planting of shrubs, trees, perennials and wetland areas. The construction of a new park: Airlie Park in Adamstown. The proposed park is located within Tandy's Lane Helens Development Area within Adamstown SDZ Planning Scheme Area.
